Title Sequence Research

I have researched several title sequences and added links from YouTube.

The Shininghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw23KM3-Ry8&feature=fvwrel
This film has very simplistic opening credits. They are in a traditional roll upwards sequence.

Smokin' Aces - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikSaevN0uSI&feature=related
This film's title sequence is typical of it's genre - crime film. We wouldn't use this style of titles as it doesn't match the genre of our film.

Psycho - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tek8QmKRODw
This film is a similar genre to our own as it is a psychological thriller. It's sequence is quite rigid and has a lot of movement. Ours will be much more simplistic but could use some rigid movement to add to the effect.

The poster features a large image of a young woman in white underwear. The names of the main actors are featured down the right side of the poster. Smaller images of Anthony Perkins and John Gavin are above the words, written in large print, "Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho".
